- Pet stores get their hamsters from a specific ''breeder''. They're not allowed, by the corporation, to accept hamsters from just anyone. If they accepted your hamsters, they wouldn't be able to sell them, they'd basically have a ''free to good home'' sign on them. Check your local shelters & rescues to see if they will take in your hamsters.
- Petco may take them the petco near me takes them and puts them up for adoption but you dont get payed. Or you could check out petfinder www.petfinder.com
- If you bring them to the pet store they will accept them back. They will put them up for adoption. Blame it on them. :) They will gladly accept them back but won't pay you for them. If you want to sell them you have to do that for yourself.
